Children’s Literary Competition 2024

Loch Gowna Tidy Towns were thrilled to announce the first Gowna Tidy Towns Children’s Literary Competition as part of the Loch Gowna Cruinniu na nÓg Festival 2024. For Children aged between 7-12 years old we asked for a short story, poem, or flash fiction on the theme of ‘Colour’ (approx 1 x side of A4). For children aged between 4-7, we asked for beautiful/imaginative pictures about ‘Colour’. Please see the entries below for our 3 age categories.

Prizes

Winners and runners up from each category will receive :

Winner : €30 One4all voucher, and winning entries will feature in The Anglo Celt

Runner Up : €20 One4all voucher

Winners and Runners Up will be announced at the Loch Gowna Cruinniu na nÓg Festival on Saturday 15 June 2024.
